I and Mumina still looked for songs that we're more simplistic and follows a good storyline. We searched up songs in the internet that were more niche, although we still wasn't sure of the specific genre we were going towards. However we found this song called "Kiss me slowly" by Parachute. Instantly I and Mumina loved the song, because first, the song was straightforward and followed a simple storyline. We immedietley noted ideas that we can apply for this song. Second of all, we both enjoy songs that are Soul such as Adele or Country such as Taylor Swift, and we were influenced by these artists. This is the type of song we were both interested in as it consists about love and/or compassion. These are the specific element that you would find in a huge amount of music videos, even if the genre isn't Folk or Country.
The Meaning - To me, this song is about a boy who found a girl who's had her heart shattered a few times. Her parents got divorced when she was young, "She shows me everything she used to know, picture frames and country roads. When the days were long and the world was small. She stood by as it fell apart to separate rooms and broken hearts, but I won't be the one to let her go." And the only thing she's ever known of love was that it doesn't last after seeing her parents leave. The boy is falling for her and is telling her that he's not going to shatter her and asking her to stay and trust in him.
